With more new films and television series on non-traditional platforms, the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to expand in more ways than one.

Its latest series, the highly anticipated “Marvel’s Inhumans,” is an adaptation of the fan-favorite comic book series created in 1965 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Featuring a race of superhumans with singularly unique powers, it is also being billed as “a new kind of family drama.”

In a new deal with The Walt Disney Company South-East Asia, video-on-demand service Hooq secured the exclusive streaming video-on-demand rights to not only “Marvel’s Inhumans” but also for the upcoming “Marvel’s Runaways” and “Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger.”

Coming this November, “Marvel’s Runaways” will be the first TV adaptation of the Marvel comic of the same name, where a group of teenagers find out not only do they have superpowers, but that their parents are supervillains.

Scheduled for next year, “Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger,” also follows the Marvel comic characters who share a symbiotic relationship as a crime fighting duo.

The spotlight, however, is focused on “Marvel’s Inhumans.” Following the debut of the show’s first chapter in IMAX theaters in the U.S. this month, the rest of the series will premiere on Hooq by the end of September on the same day as the U.S. telecast in the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore.
