Seven months after Hop Inn opened its first hotel in the Philippines, the The Thailand-based hotel group is set to pursue its expansion plan with the recent opening of its second branch in Makati City.
The company behind the growing hotel brand, Erawan Group Public Company Limited, opened its first hotel called Hop Inn Hotel Ermita on December 1, 2016. With 35 years of vast experience in developing international five-star hotels such as the Grand Hyatt and JW Marriott, among others, guests will enjoy the hotel’s affordably priced rooms, comfortable amenities, and friendly service.
The new Hop Inn Hotel Makati is in rising arts and gastronomy hub Poblacion and is just 15 to 20 minutes away from Makati City’s Central Business District.
The hotel follows its mother company’s Four Pillars Promise: Cleanliness, Convenience, Comfort, and Security. The new property has 144 air-conditioned rooms each with free high-speed Wi-Fi, cable TV, hot and cold power shower, a workstation, a hair dryer, and other room extras.
Beyond being budget-friendly
At Php1,720 net per room night, it’s one of the best budget-friendly hotels in the metro. Still, Hop Inn aims to go beyond its guests expectations. For one, it offers a quick check-in process and minimalist white and light blue rooms with inviting all-white beddings. Guest are assured of free parking service when they stay at the hotel—a welcome treat in the midst of the city’s heavy rush-hour traffic.
The Hop Inn Hotel chain has a total of 26 hotels in Thailand and two in the Philippines. Besides placing premium in its friendly staff and housekeeping services, the hotel also places premium in its security across all of its hotels. A secure key card access to rooms and elevators, an in-room safe, and round-the-clock security and CCTV operations make for a safe and serene stay guests rave about and always to come back to.
Three more hotels to open
Miss. Kamonwan Wipulakorn, president and director of The Erawan Group bared that the opening of Hop Inn Ermita and Makati Avenue is just the beginning of the company’s plans to open more hotels in the country.
Next year, three more Hop Inn Hotels are slated to open in Metro Manila: one in Aseana, a site in Alabang, and one in Tomas Morato, Quezon City. The company is also looking at key cities in Visayas and Mindanao as next potential sites to open more hotels, providing a relevant boost to the country’s tourism and overall economic development as well as opening excellent employment opportunities for more Filipinos.
